I was on my laptop searching on Google for possible Elitum.Elitebar fixes. I came across 2 sites(both forums) that said a file called LQFix.bat and Qoologic2 could be downloaded to fix the Elitum.Elitebar problem. I downloaded them and ran them in safe mode(as the instructions said) and adaware came up with no registry keys or values, just files which were just tracking cookies. Now Im running SpyBot Search and Destroy and it says No Immediate Threats were found. Im hoping Im all okay. but tell me if LQFix.bat is proven to work before i start the internet on the laptop.

Oh my F***in god! I think it worked! the Elitum.Elitebar has a reg key and value folder in Registry Editor called LQ(hence the name LQFix.bat) and it kept coming back but i think its gone! yay! but i cant be so sure. i still need to know if the LQFix.bat and Qoologic2 are proven to work.

I could tell you more about the batch file, if you right-click on the LQFix.bat and select edit, when it opens in notepade, copy and paste everything to a post. You should always check a batch file to see what commands it is running, and I highly reccomend you don't run unidentified, leary programs like this in the future, escpecially if they are not a well reknowned. After all, isn't that how you got the bug to begin with?
