I keep getting a "system resources low, remove some programs to free up space" type message. I have tons of room. I am barely able to run one program. My computer is maintained regularly. I updated and ran a virus scan, as well as adware and spybot, both in regular and safe modes. I've been down for a good week, and have a lot of late work. It is acting like a virus, but again, nothing was found. I could not find anything similar when I looked through the previous posts so I came here. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss and very frustrated.

Are you working with a certain program when this happens? Do a ctrl+alt+del and see the list of running processes. Do you see any that are much more higher than the others?
