Comment: Cannot get ride of look2me computer virus. Tried Spybot S&D and will not remove. Any ideas would be helpful.

Reply: Darren, The infected machine in the post above ran WinXP It's late here. Look over that post and see if the situation is exactly like yours. If so try all the remedies outlined right up to the running of the script. There is a different one for Win98. If you find the same Vx2 stuff and are unable to remove, post back and I'll read it in the morning and reply. Shep

Reply: Darren, I would feel more comfortable if you would Download and unzip HiJack This to a folder, not to a temporary file. Run the program, click on scan it will change to a save log button. Copy and paste the results in this thread. Then we can see what you have, there could be more. Shep
