Comment: Is there a way to lock a file with a password? There is just one file that I need to lock up and I can’t have a different log in password because of the network requirements that I have. Thanks for the help.

Reply: Here's the procedure for requiring a password to open a Word Document: 1. Open the document. 2. On the File menu, click Save As. 3. Click Options. 4. In the Password to open box, type a password, and then click OK. 5. In the Reenter password to open box, type the password again, and then click OK. 6. Click Save. That's it.
