People, almost all of these fake anti-virus programs are finding their way onto your PC's by your own doing! You are not required to click "Yes" for every pop up you see. In fact I suggest doing it to none if it is coming from a website you are visiting. Of course there are exceptions, say you are downloading a file, program or driver but it has to be a reputable site. Think before you act and these things won't happen.

For people who have others that use their computers. Create separate user accounts from your own and make yours the only administrator account. Give the other user names limited accounts so they cannot download anything!

Well that's good advise but it doesn't matter if you click yes , no, close or the X.

It either has already sent the file to you... or clicking on any of the above sends it,then closes the pop up.

I wonder why warez distributors are pursued but not malware dist....
