I'm not sure if this is a virus or not...

Limewire is installed on this computer and while running a spyware scanner, I came across some pornography that was..well quite lewd. However the file size was 0, and when I went to look through the Incomplete folder, it was FILLED with tons of objectionable material that I would certainly NEVER think of downloading OR searching for.

My question is, is it possible that there is something that is downloading these files onto my computer when I'm not home? Or is there some sort of program that I am not aware of that is installed and attached to another running program of mine that puts this crap on the computer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Limewire opens up ports to others using Limewire. a person I know has viewed many Limewire users hard drives , downloaded files and documents from these open computers. even printed things on their printers or opened the cdrom door.
run a scan at grc.com shields up
and http://scan.sygatetech.com/
if you're not completely stealth. get a firewall.
when away from your pc lock it down with a firewall, sygate and zome alarm both can stop internet traffic , just right click the icon near the clock. to block internet traffic, or set it to auto block when the screen saver is active.

It also sounds like your computer (via a limewire created weakness) may have been being used as a porn server.

Hackers targer home users with a highspeed, always on connection.

You did not mention if you have a firewall or not....if not....I'd say that's exactly what happened. But...even with one, the wrong malware will override it.

Limewire, from what I understand, is one of the more risky p2p programs out there.

If you must use P2P networks and don't have a HARDWARE router with firewall...Get One...they're gettin' pretty cheap.
