i would suggest as an added measure of protection ewido from http://www.ewido.net/en/
a pc I repaired had over 20,000 infected files from using limewire. so beware what files you download. and you'll need a good firewall, limewire and any other p2p program can open your hard drive to many hackers and crackers. without the proper protection. there are also some recording and movie company servers that record what you download, if you download something from them you may get a letter in the mail seeking monetary $$$ damages from you in court.

Thanks for the input! I'm not really looking for music all the much just some small stuff maybe some comedy stuff to listen to at work. I just want something easy and cheap but pretty safe. My ISP is some kind of genious and has my security pretty good but u never know. I'm not sure I understand all that the 1st post had in it....Thanks for the input!!! It's much appreciated!

Limewire works great and you don't have to purchase it. It will just ask you every time you use it if you'd like to purchase....just click later and you're off to the races....it works great and it's fast!
