Letstrywithme.com redirection from searches

Symantec Norton internet security 2011
December 2, 2010 at 14:50:00
Specs: Windows Vista, Intell dual core 2.33 Ghz, 2GB Ram
Around Thanksgiving 2010, I started having an issue doing a search with any search engine, including Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. When I search on any subject, search results paint on the screen. When I click on ANY link to any website, my browser automatically re-directs to a website at the URL //LetsTryWithMe.com. No matter what search engine, it does this 100% of the time, rendering searches and click capability useless. I have Norton Internet Security 2011 installed and running. Max Firewall protection. I've run virus/maleware/spyware scans with Norton IS 2011, Windows Defender, SpyBot Search & Destroy and 3 other spyware/virus tools. All say my computer, browser, memory, files, hard drives, cookies, temp files, etc are 100% clean. Other than finding out that the website is in Moscow (as reported by WhoIs through GoDaddy.com), there is very little information available about what is causing the redirection. However, it renders all search engines 'useless' when you can't click through on any result from any search.

I've seen a few other posts about this in places, but no information on how to fix it.

I had a similar problem with google redirecting me to a superfish.com. I couldn't search anything. All you have to do is go into your Tools, click Internet Options, go to the Advanced Tab, and Reset IE settings.

a redirect is usually an unwanted rootkit, if response #2 does not work for you, you may want to run tdss killer and malwarebytes.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
