I have been getting emails from av_patch@norton.com and from av_patch@trandmicro.com...

The 2 messages are EXACTLY the same...and they both look like they were written in HTML but the code did not format...

At the end of the paragraph talking about the new patch, there is a bunch of gobbledygook...about 4-5 pages of random characters kinda of this...

kdkjjnee8hkljhsdfl)*&^ldkak^^%dncvGSDflkjue99e)((*6dknapeoldv=-Ijvsn8...

It goes on like that for several pages...

I don't know if this is legit or not...but I have recieved 4-6 of these emails over about the past week or so...

I am kicking them out as spam...

Anyone else seen this and/or know what it's about???

Thanx
Steve

Norton will not send any emails about virus warnings, so that should be your first clue that its bogus.
