i recently received 3 copies of the klez32 virus. norton detected them, but quarantined them only. i don't know if it is related, but since then my keyboard has gone crazy!!! starts typing all caps, or all italics, and in microsoft word opens up inappropriate boxes at the stroke of a key. how can i determine if this is a result of the virus or whether my keyboard has just gone bad. i can't find any information on the virus and it's effect on Microsoft Word or keyboard problems........i also think that before Norton quarantined the virus(es) that one was not quarantined and i tried to manually remove it with the removal tool. now when i run the removal tool and norton it tells me no viruses detected. i'd sure love to know if i need to buy a new keyboard or whether i need to get this virus off here and not just quarantined, and whether it has already damaged my computer. Can i just reformatt and have everything OK?

there are virii that will cause keyboard problems, even after a disinfection from antivirus, the keyboard driver gets corrupted,and causes those problems.
solution;
right click-my computer-choose properties-device manager tab-click the + next to keyboard-doubleclick the keyboard entry-click the driver tab-click update driver, then have it look on the 98 cd for it.if necessary highlight the keyboard entry
and click remove, then reboot, let windows reinstall the keyboard.

I would go to Symantec.com and download the specific Klez remover that they have there. Try that. Also, try to download some fresh drivers for your keyboard.
