You have to decide for yourself which is best by reading the following two comparison articles. Needless to say everyone here have their own preference. Some will go out of their way to persuade you to try what they think is the best of the bests.

You can also do your own analysis by selecting what looks more suited to you and then running an online leaktest (firewall leakage tester) to put the software of your choice through its paces.

Try this with your current firewall to see of it makes the grade.

What they do is port scan and probe your pc to simulate intrusion attempts / successes, then when the scan is done they will give you the analysis in chart form so you can easily identify firewall weaknesses.

Not trying to push my preference on to you but just would like to let you know I have run this scan with Zonealarm and I get an "all ports stealthed" result which is very good.

Hi Btk1w1. Thanx for your input. I have used Zonelabs Suite for a few years but did away with it about 4 months ago. Everytime I had a hickup with my computer I fixed it by disabling Zonealarm Secondly I was told that ZoneAlarm used a lot of resources when running. So yes I must say since I got rid of it my problems have been minimal.

I did The Leaktest and two things happened. When Kerio asked to be permitted it went through. I did the test again and denied access. Leaktest could not connect to the internet. What do all of this mean?

What you are meant to get is a graph showing the strengths and vulnerabilities in your systems firewall.

I believe the format has been changed since I last run the test.

I'll run the test myself to see if the same thing happens, but basically when I ran it last I allowed it through my firewall and the test ran itself.

Yes I think I downloaded the new version but I'll run it again and see what happens. Meet you here again.
