Kazaa port

Anybody know what port it runs on?

seems that 1214 is popular port for kazaa/morpheus.

hello
you can use dose prompt to see witch ports its conecting too open dos prompt and type netstat.exe
it will show what traffic you have going and what ports. but kazza uses 1214
have a nice day

hi , i would like to block kazaa on my network i share the internet connection with win xp pro.
How i can block kazaa with win xp pro ?

You can use the following information to make rules with your firewall to prevent KaZaA access.
Rule 1 - Block all traffic to remote (not local) TCP port 1214.
Rule 2 - Block all traffic to remote (not local) UDP port 1214.
Rule 3 - Block access to the following IP addresses:
24.73.55.18,
24.103.112.18,
65.92.89.216,
68.5.8.84,
68.65.238.48,
68.67.210.20,
68.81.141.205,
68.97.116.232,
68.98.62.2,
68.102.79.211,
205.150.0.55,
205.180.85.40,
205.206.22.50,
206.29.192.80,
208.185.90.205,
209.225.0.6,
213.248.112.35

I need to revise the above information, the IP addresses from 205.x.x.x to 209.x.x.x only feed KaZaA ads and do not participate at all in the file sharing process. As such, Rule 3 should be amended to block only the following IP addresses:
