Ok hands up for being a complete dork but last night I downed KL which of course didn't meet up to my expectations so I thought let's off it.
I got shut of most of it and the final folder now resides in the bin or so I thought it did, I have just looked now and appears to have gone but the icon is still there.
Any ideas as to how I can poke this thing in the eye with a sharp stick?
Yours as allways

I would try reinstalling it. As you are installing Kazaaliite again, it should prompt you for a shared folder. DO NOT establish a new one, use the one that was previously created. After the installation open the shared folder and delete everything that is in it. Then unistall it, either from the program itself or by using add/remove programs in the control panel. Hopefully everything will be uninstalled. HTH

Hi Capt
What I forgot to say is that I restored the system back to the 26 of july but it didn't seem to make a difference, however I have just re-started and it is now gone.
I'm not really convinced that it's gone but I will make sure it doesn't poke ME in the eye with a sharp stick.
Thanks for your help Capt mate.

I used a program to get rid of all the Kazaa on my pc a few times. My son keeps installing it and I keep taking it back out. It is called: kazaa be gone. I just can't remember what site I got it off of. I know of course it was a download site, just can't remember what one.
