Hi;
I have just started using a spam filter for my e-mail called K9. It supposedly learns as it goes, and simply filters my e-mail to a spam folder, as opposed to blocking it. Just wondering if anyone has any info about it - good or bad!
Cheers!

Pat

I have used Spybot, AdAware, Spyware Blaster, and a search brings up "Avenue A, Inc" in about every file on my computer. How can I block "Avenue A, Inc" from loading. Some software blocks "Avenue A, Inc" from loading but dose not seem to remove whats on your computer. Vic
P.S. This web Site is also trying to load "Avenue A, Inc" every time. Vic

Pat - I haven't used K9 (I use Frontgate) but I've heard/read good things about it. It's apparently a little more "complex" than some and as you said, it takes a while to "teach it" but from what I've read, people like it once they use it a while.

vicsvw - Are you getting AvenueA cookies? An updated (webupdate)full scan with Ad-aware 6.181 should get it for you. When you click on "scan now', make sure "custom" is checked, not "smart". If it's just tracking cookies, you can set Cookiewall to automatically delete them.

Thanks mamabear. Always helps to know that I haven't increased my problems by loading something insidious onto my system. Also helps to know that it's had good reviews. Thanks again.
Cheers!

Pat
