Often jraun appears as an activeX component, but not here..

Close all browser windows and have HJT fix this: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinEssential] C:\WINDOWS\System32\Keyhost.exe

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Keyhost.exe

Repost if any problems persist.

Thanks, I will give it a try. I have an older image of my drive saved, but have never had to restore to one before. I am thinking that would also fix the jraun problem. Does this sound like a solid fix? I am not worried about loosing anything I have done since the last image I made. Thanks. -frank

I would be advising #response1 as I have no knowledge what is in your restore points, and obviously cannot advise that, but certainly I cannot predetermine any course of action. All responses proferred in this forum are the responsibility of the PC user to accept or reject as they see fit.
We are but volunteering our services, and will not mind what course of action you take. That must remain your decision.
