it seems to be cropping up again. avg lists 4 infected files: - GetAccess.class -InsecureClassLoader.class -Installer.class -BlackBox.class i tied remedies from january but none are working. difference is this time internet acces is completely blocked (filling in completehttp:///www address doesn't work) and default home addres is now ms-find.com/index.htm

The java/byteverify is not a virus but rather a method to exploit a security vunerability in the Microsoft Virtual Machine. AVG kept prompting that I had a number of viruses after I upgraded. Microsoft update 816093 will take care of this. If you can't get it from Microsoft go to the following Web site, (University of Calgary) download and install.
