ok i think ive been hacked
i was a member in this msn community and it has now been hacked and me and the manager of it cannot access any websites in any browser so im assuming someone has seen my address on their and got my IP somehow and messed about with my pc. im guessing anyway...i dont know much about that sorta thing despite knowing quite a bit about pcs.
its really depressing me so i'll be greatful of any help or suggestions as to what hes done to my pc. i have a firewall by the way...not that that was much use eh
when i try to get on a website it takes a while to load and says page cannot be displayed and yet programs like messenger work fine

Which firewall software have you been using? I myself LOVE Sygate. Zone Alarm is another good one, but is for beginners. Whatever firewall software you use, make sure you have it configured to "STEALTH" your pc so that you will not be hacked next time. As for an antivirus, there are many good ones out there. I use AVG by Grisoft. Works well for me. Any antivirus software you use should be kept up to date ALWAYS.
