Hi,
It looked like that the H key was pressed from time to time. It displayed the Help window when I clicked the start button, and a lot of H showed in the address bar when I used browser. It still existed after I restored the PC to an earlier date. The problem was solved by installing winxp again. Since the problem has appeared two times, How can I handle it with other ways instead of installing OS again? Thanks!

It's not usual for a virus to just repeat one particular key and if you reformatted before re-install it would have gone anyway.
I sympathise about the keyboard but agree that is the most likely culprit. You might be able to hook up an external keyboard just to prove the point. They are pretty cheap and just about given away second hand.

Hi!
Thanks for the reply!
After I installed the system with the original recover CD, there is no problem up to now. A strange problem.

Oh well, that proved at least two of us wrong - must remember not to jump to conclusions LOL.
Glad to hear it's fixed and thx for popping back to let us know (useful feedback). Hope it lasts this time.
