every time i shut off the comp. i receive a message: ishost.exe dll aplication failed to initialize because the window is shutting down. and then get an error beep. what is the deal and how can i kill it

I am including this in front of my "Hijack This log request" for a while to make sure others are aware of what is going on prior to receiving an email from an apparent weirdo.
There is a mentally deranged individual emailing the people I am trying to help telling them I am trying to blow up their computer so if this happens to you please let us know and post their email address if possible. Or probably easier just to delete the email and give them no attention. If they happen to send you a private message please post that also.
Please post a Hijack This log so that the files associated with the virus/spyware/hijacker can be identified.
Please download HJTsetup.exe from this link http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/files/HJTsetup.exe to your desktop.
Doubleclick on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Hijack This.
Continue to click "next" in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the "Select Addition Tasks" dialogue.
Put a check by "Create a desktop icon" then click "Next" again.
Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
At the final dialogue box click "Finish" and it will launch Hijack This.
Click on the "Do a system scan and save a logfile" button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log and post it in this thread.Do not fix anything yet unless you know what you are doing. This is a powerful tool that can crash the computer if used improperly.

here is the log that you need i believe. thank you for the help

after i posted the last message i can no longer get to safe mode or star in regular mode. it has a blue screen that says...
a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
unmountable boot volume
if this is the first time you have seen this screen restart your computer. if this screen apears again, follow these steps:check to make sure any new hardware or software has been properly installed. if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows update.
if this problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. if you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer press f8 to select advenced startup options, and then select safe mode.
technical info:
stop 0x000000ed (0x8120d030, 0xc0000032, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
---------------
but i can't even get to safe mode. what's the deal

This is a standard procedure for removing smitrem and deleting any of the Winxxx.exe temp files from the zlob virus and is used many times daily to do so.
The "beep" you mentioned in the original post is unusual and can mean several things one being a damaged system file.
You will need an xp home or professional cd (if you don't have one borrow one if possible), boot to the recovery console then run these:
chkdsk /r
fixbootIf that does not work you will need to do a repair install.
Good instructions on repair installs at this link http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
You will need to reinstall the windows updates after running a repair install.
In your case running checkdisk and fixboot, as mentioned above, from the recovery console usually reairs the corrupt system file.
