Specs: Windows XP, 512
My computer won't finish booting. It gets to the part right before the login screen then says that a program failed to initialize properly. It says to click ok to terminate the application but when i do the computer freezes there. It's labeled Isass.exe. Does anyone know how i can fix this problem, please? I've tried the couple rescue discs that i could find that were available for usb but none work.

Is it an L that you see or an i?..if it starts with i it's a virus from what I've read, but if it's L it's a system file. Have you been able to boot into safe mode?

It's an i and no, it won't let boot in safe mode. I tried that first.
