I just got rid of a virus using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and now when I start my computer, at the bottom right there is a red shield with a white x on it. I clicked it and it is the Windows Security Center. It has options to turn Firewall, Automatic Updates, and Virus Protection... all 3 can be ON or OFF. Right now it has Virus Protection ON, and the other 2 are OFF. I'm just wondering what I should do with this Windows Security Center. Is it a virus? Nothing out of the ordinary has happened yet. Thanks

That's a Valid MS Service. You can also access it from Control Panel. If you are not running a personal FireWall I suggest you turn on the
Windows FireWall. Something is better than Nothing.

I would leave Auto Update off and update manually.

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
