ok, ive done a lot of things with this and have no idea if its a virus or not. heres my problem, after i leave windows idle for about 20 minutes or so, it locks up. I have been able to play counter-strike for 2+ hours and it not lock up but when i leave it on the desktop idle it just freezes. I was thinking it had something to do with the screen saver but when i disable it, my system still locks up. and when i say locks up let me explain, my desktop is there and my mouse is there but i cant move my mouse or put any input into the computer. I've tried some virus scanning programs but have not been able to detect a virus here..... has anyone heard of a virus like this? if so any help would be very much appreciated! thanks!
