Hey guys I was just wondering bout something I have norton antivirus 2002 and all my updates are current But i notice in my task manager I have a program called regsrv.exe and it boots up everytime with my computer it also tries to access the internet constantly im talking proably 30 times a day but I use zonealarm so i blocked access and theres also a program called delvdrv.32.exe that I haven't noticed before anyone know what these are? Also are they a way to remove thie reg program? I think this may have started appearing in the back ground after i installed trillion but im not positive. Thanks for your help

Regsrv.exe is actually a system file. It can be used by various programs to access and edit the registry. My guess as to why it is running on your computer and trying to access the network is this: It sounds like you have the Remote Registry Service starting up automatically on your computer. Go to CONTROL PANEL > ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS > SERVICES and Set "Remote Registry" (which allows person/program to edit your registry remotely over an internet/network) to "Manual" of not "Disabled". Personally I have had mine set to disabled and I have never had a problem.
If this does not rid the program from startup, then you may want to go to a Dos Prompt (Command Window) and type the following:
tasklist /svc
this command will show you what tasks are running and what services are associated with them... It may or may not offer additional helpful information.

Check the length of the code and see if there are stops. You might also check your caps on your keyboard. Try an editor after the code.
