Ok. Any virus or adware does not belong in your pc and may mutate to something much worse later.

Go to http://www.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/6433.html and follow the instructions. You will be shown where to download AdAware, Spybot S&D etc.. from. Post again if you need more help.

Good luck

Shop at Home does hijack browser settings.

12/04/2003 Normal Removal
There should be an entry in the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs applet for
'ShopAtHomeSelect Agent'. Use it to remove the software then restart the
computer. If that does not work on your system for some reason, you can try the
manual removal instructions below.

Manual Removal
WARNING: The normal removal instructions above should work for most systems.
This manual removal program should only be used if the Control Panel Add/Remove
programs option fails to remove the Golden Retriever software from your system.
This removal program is provided as-is, and ShopAtHomeSelect cannot be held
responsible for any problems resulting from the use of this removal program.
Run the attached Golden Retriever Removal Program, then reboot your system.

* There was no removal program attached.
