I know this is a stupid question, but is mozilla a spyware. I've heard alot lately that mozilla is a apyware. Can any one confirm this?

No.
None of the Mozilla products are spyware, you have been badly misinformed I'm afraid. If anything, using a Mozilla based browser is likely to dramatically decrease the chances of spyware getting onto your computer.

Must be a plot by BillSoft. Seriously, Firefox is based on Netscape navigator and is probably the best browser available. It automatically kills 90% of popups and gives users control over cookies, downloads, and other functions. Once you try it you won't go back.
