I think that my computer might have a virus.
We have norton antivirus, and the virus defs are up-to-date (updated yester), but I think that some time today i have downloaded a virus.
The computer is running exceedingly slow, but there doesn't seem to be much computer activity going on.
My "quick launch" bar stopped working, and only showed me the "properties" for each of the buttons when I clicked on them.
And last but not least, the C: drive when I go to scan the computer in norton has "disappeared". Which is the reason why I think that I have a virus!
Does this sound like any virus in particular?
If you can help out, I would really appreciate it, as this computer acts as network and http server. Thanks!
SKYE

could try an online scan at
housecall.antivirus.com disable auto protect while scanning there, to prevent false detections from the virus definition strings.
also to fix the quick launch, download and install tweakui version 1.33, after extracting it, right click tweakui.inf and choose install, it will install to control panel, then go to the repair tab and choose rebuild icons, then repair associations, then reboot.
