I have Zone Alarm and AVG. When I ran AVG it found the IRC/BackDoor.Flood that it can not repair. I have read another forum on here which told the user to run the Highjack this program and the following is the log: I have a Highjack log file but Computing.net did not want me to log it until it was asked for. Not sure where to go from here. HELP!!

Hi Rachavery Before we have a look at your hijackthis log file can you update the virus def's for AVG. Next can you turn off your system restore (these nasties love to hide in here), Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Click on "System Restore Settings" Place a tick in the box "Turn Off System Restore". Click "Apply" then "Ok". Next boot your pc into safe mode by tapping the f8 key during start up and selecting safe mode. Run AVG while in safe mode. While still in safe mode after you run AVG can you do another hijack this log. Reboot your pc normally and post your hijackthis log.

Also, Can you turn your system restore back on when you reboot your pc normally.

Please help. I run AVG security on my PC (OS is Windows XP) and it found the IRC/BackDoor.Flood in the file C:\WINDOWS\system\script.ini. I updated my AVG security yesterday, and it still did not clean it today. Please let me know if I can safely delete this file. AVG is detecting it, but it is not healing it.
