IP warning message --what does it mean?

July 21, 2011 at 07:47:03
Specs: Mac OS X 10.4.11
I keep getting a picture of a stop sign and a warning that my IP is being used by 6 sets of 2 digits or 2 letters separated by colon marks. For example: IP is being used by 1a:a5:00:11:4d:do (made up). What does this mean? Does this mean I'm being hacked? I keep restarting my computer every time I see it, but it comes up now each time I get on the Internet. Thanks for your help!
