Help!
I've been overtaken by spyware.
I've installed Pc-cillin and now theres errors with it, already uninstaller and reinstalled twice.

I've got the hijack results but I don't understand what I'm to do. I see that some of these are possibly legit but how does one know for sure? I'm a techno dummy!

My computer is virus free but I continue to have a very slow system. I've scanned my system with dell as I've been getting the blue screen daily, referring me to check for a driver, but even that comes up ok....so I'm assuming its spyware in my system rebelling against my cleaning efforts....

I will be happy to send the results to anyone who feels confident in their abilities to help.

After I see the 'analyze this' results I'm stuck on what to do and fearful of making a critical error....

desperate to get back to my real work....10 days and still working on it....

Kelly

"I've been overtaken by spyware."

You sound pretty definite, yet you also declare that you are only 'assuming' this is the case, and that your system scans clean

Your reported symptoms are more than a little vague, & if you're receiving any sort of error message, reporting it *exactly* is an excellent first step, as the issue may be something else entirely (or perhaps more than one thing is going on)

There are plenty of forums that specialize in HJT log analysis (this forum is a bit more general) - as well, there are numerous online AV scans such as Panda or Housecall and several HJT Tutorials available

Speaking for myself, I would've pursued other avenues long before 10 days had elapsed {ymmv}

Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real.
