Currently I have Norton Internet Security and Norton AntiVirus. The problem with these two programs is that they take like alot of proceeses on my computer. It is really slowing it down. I have 43 running processes all together most of which are from Norton. Can anyone tell me a better Internet Security Program that will take up less processes on my computer and still keep me jsut as safe. Im sick of this thing.

Sygate, Kerio, and Zone Alarm for a firewall, all are free and perform better than NIS. Antivirus programs would be any of the following ESET's NOD32, Computer Associates ETRUST, srnmicro's SOLO(all are avilable for full program trail including updates and then Grisoft's AVG which is a free program, unless you live in Europe.
I would dump NIS as they have a bad rep for being resource hogs. Instead download the FREE Zone Alarm. And keep your Norton Anti-Virus.

I use AVG and Kerio and when I open my PC, I have 94% resources free (WinME). Other sec.programs that are like this are Sygate firewall and Solo Antivirus. I just don't know if Solo is better than AVG. I tried it for a month and it had the same excellent behaviour as AVG. (It is not tested anywhere.)
