I think I may have a computer virus that is interrupting my internet connection. My network device says that I am connected to the internet, but when I try to load a page on any browser (IE, Firefox, or Chrome) it says the connection was interrupted and will not load any page. I have tried to run a diagnose and repair, but it says no problems were found. I have tried resetting my router and modem, my computer, and I have performed a system restore. It is not a problem with the modem or router as I am able to connect to the internet on another computer. I have TrendMicro protection. I have a run a complete system scan and it said it found 3 problems, but fixed them. Now when I run the scan it only finds one potential threat, but I think it is just a regular cookie that I've always had. But I still have the same problem. I have a HijackThis log and can post it if requested.

Have you tried turning off your Trend software to see if is causing the problem?

Capt, That actually worked! Thanks for your help. I'm curious as to why TrendMicro would suddenly start causing this though. I've had it for years and never had that problem.
