Internet filtering software for kids I have a 10 year old grandson that I want to protect by adding some kind of software to keep him off certain sites and to keep junk (porn) from coming in. Any suggestions?

create personal logon account for others, check firewall and security settings in control panels, increase filtering , search on web, netnanny and cybersitter...

Many paid versions of software firewalls also offer very good parental controls. Just make sure you set up a password to stop any unauthorized changes.

Hi, Also consider Cybersitter. Loads of features, Banned words ( also bans site(s) with Banned words Allowable times, Password access to settings. Only problem I've ever had with it was that it blocked access to the Harry Potter web site because of the banned word "Wizard" Simply added the site to trusted zone. Cheaper than a child sitter for a night out and will last for years. hth Ceri
