Comment: I am hoping someone can help here, I think I have a virus on my system but cannot detect, repair or clean it with my current virus software. The symptoms are that every time I try to access the Internet either via IE, opera, get program updates etc my computer crashes, blue screens and restarts. I've tried to install MS IE updates, virus checker updates etc but every time it crashes. Any suggestions as to which virus this might be so I can grab a fix and run it?

Reply: (edit)Can you boot into safe-mode and use the internet? What is the BSOD? Is it the same or does it change? (We need at least the first line to try to determine what may be at fault) Do you have a Emegency Recovery Disk that you can boot off of? If you have NAV, then try booting straight from the CDROM.
