How exactly is it connected?
Are you using a router to connect to the internet?
Open CMD by Start / Run / CMD and type ipconfig /all
Post the result.

check in your device manager for any conflicts and then
download some drivers on another PC and put them on a
thumbdrive or a disc to load onto the problem PC.

OK...
when I go to the Device Manager, there are yellow exclamation points on the following:
Other PCI Bridge Device
PCI Device
PCI Simple Communications Controller
Sm Bus Controller
Unknown Device
Video Controller (VGA)

Does this information help??

Another thing, when I installed the xp for Gateway, I only had one disk..... I didnt have two discs like my Dell computer has to install both Operating Systems disk and the Drivers and utilities disk...
I only have the Operating Systems disk for the Gateway.. not sure if I lost the other one or it just came with one...
Hope that helps..

Can I download them from another computer? And if so, how?
on a cd or disc? And then put that cd or disc into the
computer that needs it?
