Hello
I am having a huge problem with my dell dimension 5150. I recently installed uniblue registry booster 2009 and i cleaned all of the registry errors it found on the scan and it told me i had to restart for it to take effect so i did. but after the computer booted up i received an error message that said C:\Documents and Settings\"myname"\Desktop is not accessible.
Now my computer is completely useless. Everytime i try to open something like firefox or even some folders it gives me that same message. I cant do anything.
Can someone please help me with this problem?
Note:I can reach the desktop but most of my files and shortcuts are missing. i can also access my computer.

I hope you did a complete system backup as directed before you tried uniblue registry booster 2009.
Improper use of any registry cleaner/booster does a lot of more damage - it breaks Windows.

I actually resolved the problem after i restarted the computer a couple of times but it was scary. The computer was completely useless. Nothing like that ever happened to me before. Thanks for your help any way!
