Specs: Windows 7

When I bought a subscription to Newsweek I got Norton 360 5.0 for one year. I have a product key but this is not in my account. Norton wants to charge $40 to do it. How do 1 download it. Mike

It's not in your norton account because you didn't get it through Symantec - you got it through a third-party (Newsweek). Symantec is not reponsible for special offers from third parties. I think you need to contact Newsweek.

Norton was in on the scam with Newsweek. No mention was made of $40 to download. I find it a very deceitful way of doing business. Mike

Um, I'm not too sure that 'much better all around protection' is strictly true is it? Avast is just an antivirus, though currently one of the better ones. Norton 360 additionally provides: a firewall; parental controls; identity protection; back-up (including 2Gb of cloud storage); 'Insight' scans all downloads to check their validity; a safe pc tuneup utility ('Systemworks' as it used to be called); bootable recovery disk; 24/7 support that is actually useable; etc. etc. And no, I'm not a Norton reseller.... ;-)

when you think about it...stats don't mean squat...the user knows best, and I've tried most security suites and I have uninstalled MANY Norton products and replaced them with Avast Free over the years.
