Hello!
My computer has been acting abnormal and some of the programs dont work. Its been a a month now and my system restore, windows media player, internet doesn't work, so i tried to install a mcafee disk i found i've tried all the virus programs and cant find anything, but i found out that i had services.exe runing in the bacground and some other stuff. When i tried to install McAfee it said "Locals~1/Temp/vsh9enus.tmp/mcappins.exe is in use"

Don't know if this will be helpful for you, but one problem I had when I installed McAfee on my Win 2000 PC was that in the standard installation, it automatically loaded a firewall. When I realized that the firewall was interfering with my network, I uninstalled McAfee and re-installed under "custom," which gave me the option of not loading the firewall. BTW, I don't use McAfee anymore; I'm using a free program called AntiVir, and so far it has been very effective.
