Comment:
I have recently recieved a computer virus that activates Windows Installer frequently.
A pop up will come up saying things along the lines of "Installing Windows XP" or "Searching Windows XP" and a bunch of other bullcrap. The problem is, I don't even have XP! I have 2000!
I'm also getting a ton of pop-ups online with windows pertaining to free media services online and video hosting sites.
It's getting sooooo annoying and I have no clue what to do!

Let me guess?!?
No Router?
No Firewall?
No Antispyware?
Download AdAware 2007, Spybot Search & Destroy, install ALL M$ updates and buy a Router.
Now all you need is an AV package.
