WEll, it all began when the HD failed, and Dell sent a new one. I loaded all the drivers... and once the computer was running good on basic stuff, i started to install programs, to get the computer back onto the network... Novell Netware, Office, etc.. and now whenever I log on to Novell when the computer boots, Inoculate updates... I can't seem to get it to stop.. I've uninstalled it, and when i log onto the network it reinstalls.. seems to be working fine, then when i log off and log back on, it tries to update.. when it allready has the updated version installed...
ANY SUGGESTIONS/ADVICE??
Thanks

Is it actually updating or is it just just doing it's initial scan of so many files ? On Inoculate IT PE you have to manually force it to update so I'm not sure what you mean by it updates itself .

I work @ a local credit union, and we have it set up on Novell, that when a user logs on, if/ & when Inoculate Updates are available, they are downloaded...

I've uninstalled Novell, Uninstalled Inoculate, then reinstalled Novell- when you log onto the network for the first time, inoculate installs onto the computer. Seems like every thing should work good, but when you shut it down, reboot, and log onto the network, it goes into an inoculate update that takes about 2-3 minutes, which is unnecessary, because it just installed the lastest version on the last login.
Any Suggestions?
