Hi, Say, I partitioned my vista OS to install xp OS. So now I have two partitions.

What if XP OS got infected with viruses, would it effect my VISTA OS? (since both OS sharing the same harddisk)

I want to use XP as to do crazy stuffs like downloading, installing different programs etc while keeping VISTA for like paying online bills, online shoppings and stuff.

Anyway, advice? Thank you!

If you're able to browse all partitions from within XP, a virus is also able to do that and infect files from the vista partition.
