Recently I have been getting this pop-up when I turned my PC and the accounts show up of which you wanted to logon to. Before it was a blank pop up that said Yes or No with an exclamation point. I would always press no and it would load my account fine. Unfortunally someone got on my PC and pressed Yes. When they did that, there is now a red X in place of the exclamation point and if you press Yes it does the shutdown sound, but goes back to the pop-up. If you press no it logs me off the name I never signed on to. I am guessing this is an infected window file because booting in Safe-Mode works fine. Also, if I try to boot in safe-mode with networking then I get the same problem. I dont think this is registry related because I did a system restore already. I ran a virus scan and a spyware scan, but that has not helped. I used AntiVir for virus and Microsoft AntiSpywareBeta for spyware. If there is anything I can do besides reinstalling windows, that would be a life saver. Thanks for the help.

You can get into safe mode, so do a system restore back to when all worked well.

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks
