Infected Folder

I was using AVG anti Virus.It found some viruses and then heal it.My windows was totally crashed so i again installed fresh windows xp in C drive. The data was in D drive which was infected AVG heal it at that time.
Now with the fresh windows xp installation i can't view my folders but it is in hidden form but in the Drive properties it show mew that size of dive which means taht the data is still in D drive but AVG change it.
Plz guide me that how can i recover my data which is so much precious.
