inetinfo.exe...Whats this?

09/06/2003 15:38:11 Blocked TCP Incoming 216.154.255.115 4649 D:\WINNT\system32\inetsrv\inetinfo.exe Sygate picked it up, and keeps trying to connect w/me over and over. Smartwhois came up with nada. What the hell is this?

INETINFO.EXE is the IISAdmin service INETINFO is also part of IIS Tank863

ISC reports over 2000 different monitoring systems have been probed by 216.154.255.115 the past 30 days. So it is just a Bot program on an infected system scanning the Internet for exposed machines to infect.

INETINFO.EXE is a IIS (Personal Web Server) file which loads PWS on your desktop PC. If you have installed PWS on your pc then this file is a must else, run MSCONFIG and clear the check box in fornt of intentinfo.exe Cheers, Niko
