Has anyone used incredimail here?? We have it on our computer but i'm wondering how to scan it for viruses, if the virus scans even acknowledge it as an email program or if by having it open on my computer, it is an unprotected open way to my computer. I also have ZA installed, mcafee, and avg.

Should i keep it on, or take it off??

TIA

Hi all. i guess i didn't make my question clear. what i meant to ask is if email that comes through incredimail is scanned by mcafee or avg like the mail from outlook express is. i would get a warning if i was trying to open an email with a virus in it, but will i get a warning from mcafee or avg regarding emails brought through from incredimail??
thanks

I use Incredimail. When I first used it it asked if I wanted to transfer all my settings from Outlook Express and I said yes. I have Norton AV 2002, and it does scan the e-mail when it comes in. I didn't have to set it or anything. I was wondering if it has any spyware. Good way to get e-mails and info from people.

My problem was that if I were to buy a new computer in another year, could I transfer the registration over or not. Didn't want to have to buy it again. I e-mailed and asked them but no response. That has been the main complaint I heard. They're not answering any questions about their products.
other than that, I really love it.

I have been using Incredimail for over a year now with no problems. I use Nortons and it has caught any virus that come in my emails. No problem at all.You definitely get a warning.

I was wondering if it is at all possible to export the e-mail or archive it. I noticed you can import from other programs, but I see no way to export, except for exporting contacts. Is there a way to save the e-mail messages to another folder??
