Hi Folks I think I have a virus which is affecting my e-mail program - Incredimail Xe.
Whilst typing my mail, every time I pause for a few seconds words are inserted in blocks of three!! they are proper words and not just a mixture of letters.
I use 'Norton Personal Firewall' and 'NAV 2002' and 'The Cleaner', i ran a check up with all these programs and also ran 'Housecall', however none of these programs found a virus or Trojan
What's going on? Can anybody help because this is driving me potty.

hi john, you may have a trojan. the typed words are random and they do make some sense, right? if so, you may have an intruder who is playing jokes and having fun at your expense. First off go to www.pcflank.com and scan for trojans and open ports. if you find a trojan, then go to wilders.org and download a free 30 day trial of Trojan Hunter and scan your puter again. You may want to also install a free copy of RegProt and Procmon from Sysinternals, you can find info and downloads of these products at www.thepublicworks.com in their security section. also you may want to download a free copy of PestPatrol its also a very good adware, spyware and anti-trojan software. cheers, murve

Wrongo Murve! He's got his speech recognition on. Just turn it off, or unplug your mic.
