ok hello, im confused right now, i download a norton internet security 2007 version cracked and works great with updates and everything, but my computer is very slow and i dont no if its the problem because i also tried kaspersky internet security 7 , and i still found my computer slow, and ZA7, i dont no if i should dump norton and download free anti viruses, i have 256 ram so my computer is really slow and i no u have already answered my previous question but i dont no what to do, dump norton then what?? download 1)avast free 2)spyware terminator 3)comodo firewall 4)something called threat fire which a website recommended it because it gives additional protection with the anti virus(i trust that website). is that enough protection for my computer and will they also be resource hogs. anyways i am downloading them all now and still have norton awaiting for your replies. thank you
I also really need help...I formatted my pc recently and now in some important word files whe i try to open them a window pops up named file conversion, saying "select the encoding that makes your documents readable"but none of the encodings there is working. So the files are either not opening or opening in sguares and symbols. What can I do?
Cracked Nortons?!?!? Any cracked software is an invitation for trouble! Let alone nortons, which in my opinion, doesn't need to be cracked to give you grief.
Try free programs which generous developers offer.... antivirus, antispyware, firewall, content filters, file organisers, file deletion, web page design.... I could go on forever... Just research and choose wisely.
Many here use freeware and swear by it., Myself included.
Nortons IS a resource hog in its best form.
p.s. as far as using illegitimate copies of software, no advice is given, and you're lucky enough this post survived long enough for a response.
