For the last few weeks, when I shutdown for the day, the system displays that there is a program "not responding". The file is iexplorer.exe and I have to force it to stop. I read that this is a virus or spyware and that it should be removed. My Spyware Doctor, BitDefender 9 and SpySweeper are not finding it when I scan frequently. Is there a removal tool?

The root of your problems is 'Spyware Doctor'.Try booting into safemode.Bet ya can't.After Spyware Doctor trashed a legit program of mine because of a false positive, i uninstalled it and finally figured out 'Why' i hadn't been able to get into safemode.Yes, 'Spyware Doctor' and good rittance to it!.
