iexplore.exe Opens on it's own

OS: Windows XP Professional
CPU/Ram: AMD Athlon 2600/2gigs

Whenever I start my computer, "iexplore.exe" opens on it's own and eats up my memory usage. It's not the microsoft program sense I don't even have it open, it just does it by it's self. I don't know how to get rid of it, or make it stop opening. It will get to about 500k mem usage then stop. Any feedback would be very helpful. Thanks =)

Run msconfig and see if iexplore.exe is in the Startup folder.

Download HiJackThis, install & run to get a log file. Don't fix anything yet.
You then post the log file at the site provided below & it will tell you what to fix.
