July 6, 2010 at 09:04:12
Specs: Windows XP SP3
On startup iexplore.exe starts up, its some kind of malware but i can't find a way to delete it at all.

So far I've run housecall, malbytes, SuperAS, spydoctor, spyware search and destroy, and a couple others. nothing has worked at alllllll

anyone have some suggestions on this fix?

Why do you believe that iexplore.exe is malware?

This file is a part of Internet Explorer and cannot be easily removed. It can be infected with malware but if that is the case you cannot simply delete it.

its running when i dont have iexplore.exe open, i've done tons of research and i have multiple instances of it running in process manager, clicking in the background, volume being turned down without me doing it, ads popping up.

its malware

can we move past the do you know what iexplore.exe is steps and get to the diagnosing and removing the issue?

i have combofix and hijackthis logs ready if you need them
