I just got a new computer and it got infected with the IEHOST virus. I've tried adaware and F-Prot Antivirus but neither can get rid of it. Is there anything I can do to delete it? Thanks

Ally

hi!
first try this
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

see if it will get it for you.

if not, we can try to get it manually.
you will find the file on system32
try to reboot on safe mode and srearch for the file and delete it.
delete it
Remove the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\Bakra

go to start/run/mscofig/startup

search for the file and uncheck it if u see.

good luck
